MeetSync® or Calendly – which fits your meeting flow?
Calendly and MeetSync® overlap more than many expect: both offer booking links and meeting time polls. This page compares the workflows instead of claiming that one lacks a feature it actually has.
Calendly has meeting polls – here is the difference
Calendly offers Meeting Polls where participants can vote without a Calendly account, and according to Calendly's documentation up to 40 time options and 40 participants are supported. After the poll the organiser picks the time to book. In MeetSync® the meeting poll is part of an organisation flow where internal calendars are included and a shared time can be confirmed according to MeetSync®'s rules.
Booking links
Both Calendly and MeetSync® can publish a booking link where a visitor picks an open time. In MeetSync® this is called a booking calendar, and the booking form can be adapted to the organisation's needs.
Several internal and external participants
MeetSync® is built for meetings where several internal people must attend while customers and other external participants are invited without an account. Availability is calculated jointly instead of from one person's calendar only.
Different calendar systems in the same meeting
MeetSync® connects to Google Calendar, Microsoft 365 and Apple Calendar via CalDAV, and meetings can be held in Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. That matters when participants in the same meeting belong to organisations on different calendar platforms.
How the final time is established
In Calendly's meeting polls the organiser picks the time after the poll. In MeetSync® a shared time can be confirmed automatically according to the organisation's rules, after which the meeting is created in the participants' calendars with invitation and notifications.
